The
course consists of three parts. First, we will learn how to calculate
interest on deposits and loan payments and practice credit analysis. Then we will study approaches for solving investment problems: discounting, amortization, excess, internal rate of return and investment valuation. We will conduct an investment analysis. Finally, we will touch on a little bit of statistical apparatus and learn how to accurately predict the return on certain investments and build trends. Microsoft Excel version 2010 or higher will be required for the course.
