Formation of user stories (USER STORY) is one of the main skills of an analyst. On many projects this is the end of the detail and the basic unit of requirements. All others provide a high-quality basis for writing functional requirements. The main thing is to ensure that the user/customer is satisfied with the result, and your manager is satisfied with your work. The essence of user stories is simple, but the difficulty is that both according to information on the Internet and from project to project, you will encounter different interpretations of them, including those that negatively affect your results. And if you or your project do not use user stories, believe me, this is an alarming trend that can lead to very sad consequences. And vice versa, if you understand the basics of User Story, know how to distinguish bad ones from good ones, be able to compose them in various formats, have a good amount of practice – you will be able to adapt to any project and even improve it. And of course, write your requirements better.
